WE WILL GO WHERE NO GENERATION HAS GONE BEFORE
During the 2015 UN General Assembly, the UN announced the 15 year plan to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic by year 2030. Several focus groups and panels gathered to discuss the step necessary to accomplish this goal through the weekend along with the Mashable Social Summit for Good. Modern Advocate Co-Founder, Jake Glaser, teamed up with Kweku Mandela, Charlize Theron, The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, UNAIDS and the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Program to begin the exploration of a new paradigm. The focus? How to empower future generations to go where no generation has gone before, the end of HIV/AIDS in our lifetime. We are proud to stand with such an amazing collective of minds launching the #GENENDIT movement. Thank you to hip hop artists Nico and Vinz, Pioneer Works, a center for art and innovation, and their founder Dustin Yellin along with many others who will be essential in the push for a world without HIV/AIDS. It is time to get radical, and there is no doubt that #GENENDIT is going to bring a new face to this cause through lifestyle, entertainment and industry. UNITE AND AMPLIFY!
